Picture this: you come home with your brand new edition of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, pop it into your Nintendo Wii, and all of the sudden, you’re confronted with the greatest evil of our time: AIG.
That’s what happened to MTV’s Multiplayer, who discovered something the boys down at the Konami home office kind of – oops! – overlooked. It seems the Manchester United team portrayed in the game is sponsored by the shame of our nation, American International Group, a.k.a. The Guys Who Killed The Economy.
Thanks to the AIG logo prominently featured on jerseys of the M.U. team (who will be appearing eternally in the opening cinematic whether you choose to play them or not), Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is sure to be remembered as the Feel Good Game of the Year by the 4 people who choose to play it more than once.
