How much money would you pay someone to teach you to play a really mean game of Tetris?
If you’re like us, the sky’s the limit. This is an important to skill to learn – Tetris teaches you organization, critical thinking, and maximum time-frittering.
So we were stunned to learn that concerned Vancouver citizen Alex P. Wilson, who proudly points out, “I have been playing Tetris since I was eight,” is offering to share his wealth of knowledge for the low low price of 30 bucks (Tetris Fundamentals – 90 minutes), or $55 if you’re really serious (Intermediate Tetris – 2 hours).
It’s all right there in this Craigslist ad, which we took a picture of just in case it gets taken down. See for yourself as Wilson tells us exactly why his lessons are worth your hard-earned cash:
“Tetris is easy to learn but hard to master. You will receive personal Tetris coaching from someone who has played numerous variations of Tetris on a number of different platforms and consoles, in the relative comfort of his own home.”
Of all the benefits he offers, even more than gaining “an understanding of how to achieve back to back Tetrises,” we’re looking forward to having “gained the confidence to play Tetris by yourself or against friends, strangers, and family members.” Because that’s what we’ve always been lacking – the confidence to play basic computer games against daunting opponents like Mom.
We’re so enthused that we may pop for the advanced class (which includes free booze). Plus there are couples and seniors discounts, so we’re really jealous of elderly couples today. They’ve definitely got the edge on us when it comes to the dog-eat-dog world of knowing how to play Tetris.
It’s not like it’s something you can just figure out for yourself.
