This morning we showed you Jimmy Fallon playing Tiger Woods at Wii Golf last night. But despite all the attention that match-up has garnered, we’re here to tell you that Conan O’Brien did it first!
Yes, it was only August of last year that Conan, still hosting Late Night, took on Tiger in a game of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 for the XBOX 360. And just like Fallon, Conan even played using his own avatar.
The moral of the story: there’s a reason Conan is now hosting The Tonight Show – he is the true innovator when it comes to challenging celebrities at their own video games. Don’t get us wrong – we love Jimmy Fallon’s new Late Night, but if something “new” ever happens anywhere, we can be pretty sure that Conan did it first.
