Michael Jackson Mourned By Hardcore "Call Of Duty" Players

Friday June 26, 2009 10:22 AM

As America mourns the passing of our Weirdest Celebrity/Most Talented Artist Of All Time, no one has been hit harder than the Call of Duty community.

Yes, as soon as we heard the news of Michael Jackson’s death, we were immediately and totally concerned about how Call of Duty players would take the loss of their King of Pop. So we naturally headed over to the message boards over at cod4boards.com, and sure enough, posters there proved that Jackson’s influence was felt everywhere.

Here are a few of the posts that hit us hardest:

“R.I.P. great entertainer, despite all the media controversies.” — n0vad3m0n

“One of the best musicians and entertainers of all-time. I can’t believe any of the controversy he was going through because he wasn’t proven guilty of any of it. It’s sad to see society rip someone apart like that. R.I.P Michael” –Ik0n

“im still going to dance to thriller” — ViNMan46

“r.i.p. a really great entertainer and innovator of his time! id tell a joke but feels too soon. i got a date with this thread tomorrow.” –Onnahinli
