But if you remember The Funniest Video Games That Never Were, random video game geeks across the internet seem to be putting down the XBox remotes in favor of spending more time than necessary creating mock-ups of 8-bit video games that never existed.
While they may lose out on a social life while hunched over the computer creating the perfect pixelized Jack, we win with some sweet NES Lost box art that never was.
We’re sad it’s not real, but who knows – if we can get the island to time-travel back to 1980’s Japan, we might just be able to make this game a reality.
