No, you’re not on some pellet-induced acid trip: Pac-Man Land was an actual land in actual theme park way back in the early 1980s!

For the mere price of admission (we’re assuming that consisted of a glamor shot and a baggy full of cocaine), not only could you spend a day riding awesome roller coasters and log rides, but if you were bored and/or daring enough, you could enter the world of Too Much Pac-Man.

We can’t believe that there was a point in time when Pac-Man was popular enough to warrant his own land. It’s almost as worthless as “Mickey’s Toontown” at Disneyland. Almost. We can imagine the advertising now…

Wanna walk around in a mesh net maze fit for a crappy park carnival? We’ve got it! After the maze, why not cool down and relax while watching a 45 minute Pac-Man puppet show? That’s not totally lame at all!

Oh, and don’t think we’ve forgotten about the little tykes, either! Here at Six Flags Over Texas, we made sure to create the most terrifying, awkward Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man costumes for our staff to walk around in. Your kids won’t know if they should scream and run away or fight back when they come across our costumed characters!

So head on over to Pac-Man Land at Six Flags Over Texas, where every day we hope to Blinky that we break even on this terrible business venture!
