We can’t wait for the new “Tron” film. Laser bikes! Video games to the death! Pew pew pew! We can already hear our girlfriends making plans that night. But who among the mega-nerds has not dreamed of recreating that scary bike ride, where a solid trail behind the bikes means you are constantly running out of room to steer? Well, some brave nerds with moderately conditioned leg muscles thought it through and gave it a go.
Wait a minute… it ends with them just flopping to the ground? All that buildup for that?? We wanted to see high-speed clotheslines to the neck! Oh well, at least they put it together, made it viral and generally got it out of the way before the film came out. That way they keep some nerd cred, though we would have preferred a little more death match action.
Prefer your “Tron” references lazy? That obviously won’t be a problem for Cheech and Chong.
