If there’s one thing we know about the Japanese, it’s that they make crazy f*cking gameshows. Seriously, if you’ve never watched one, we highly suggest you sit back on the couch, buy some snacks and watch (getting really high is completely optional, but encouraged for added effect).
Well, this infamous clip takes “Tetris” to a whole new level, and as such, we’ve officially welcomed it to the Video Game Hall of Fame!
We love how impossibly difficult the challenge is, because let’s be honest: nobody really wants to see anybody succeed. We just want to see some dude dressed like he’s going to the Special Olympics get pushed into a pool full of urine by a giant moving wall.
If only they capitalized on more classic games as live, physical challenges! Can you imagine a huge “Donkey Kong” set-up, complete with flamethrowers, two-ton barrels, and an enraged, oversized gorilla? Okay, so that’d be all sorts of illegal… but we’d watch it!
