A Pepsi employee erected this huge and elaborate Super Mario display in Ronhert Park, California. Each pixel is represented by a 12-pack of soda cans. This means he not only mapped it out at home with his free time, but that his quivering, pallid, underutilized arms hefted case after case over his head to build a Super Mario twice as tall as an actual human being… all to sell soda… in a super market… in a tiny town.
Also, if one is to believe the comments on the Kotaku article, it seems Ronhert Park, California is the seventh circle of Hell. This nerd wasn’t just trying to outdo the Coca-Cola display, this was the single greatest and most unappreciated accomplishment of his life. So before you dismiss this as an act of lameness, take a moment to pour out a Pepsi for the nerds who never made it out of suburbia and got a life.
